Public Involvement

NTTA is committed to engaging the public in the toll project planning processes and providing all stakeholders with timely and accurate information regarding NTTA initiatives. Proactive public involvement is a foundational element of NTTA’s approach to the development of transportation improvements and toll facilities. Public involvement needs will vary based on project’s individual dynamics, but NTTA works cooperatively to plan and conduct meetings related to NTTA projects and to ensure timely communications.

Business Diversity Events

Business Chats
Proprietors of disadvantaged, minority-owned, woman-owned, business enterprises (D/M/WBEs) who are interested in doing business with NTTA and want to promote their businesses are welcome to attend monthly Business Chat Sessions.

Business Chat Sessions Will:

  • Inform vendors of NTTA procurement opportunities
  • Show businesses how to register as vendors
  • Introduce vendors to NTTA stakeholders
  • Enable vendors to get to know NTTA

NTTA staff will explain the bidding process and talk about upcoming procurement opportunities with various NTTA departments. Business Chat Sessions are designed to provide an informal setting for vendors to meet with key decision makers at NTTA and to share information about their respective companies. In addition, Business Chat Sessions allow NTTA staff to present information to vendors in a manner that is tailored to the vendors’ specific industries.
