Dallas North Tollway Improvement Projects Description
DNT Improvement Projects consist of various projects that
extend along the entire 32 miles of the DNT from Interstate 35E to US 380.
These improvements are designed to add capacity, help traffic flow and minimize
traffic impacts during preventative maintenance.
Additional projects along the DNT between Interstate 35E in
Dallas and the Sam Rayburn Tollway (SRT) in Frisco were completed in 2018. This
work included adding a northbound fourth lane from the Trinity Mills Road exit
ramp to the SRT and a southbound fourth lane from the SRT to Belt Line Road in
Addison. Ramp improvements, resurfacing, and restriping work were included in the project.
Current projects include:
- U.S. 380 to SRT: planning is currently
underway for the addition of a fourth lane in each direction
- Harvest Hill Road to President George Bush
Turnpike
