Certifications
· Description: Number of disadvantaged, minority, women, small businesses and historically underutilized businesses (D/M/W/SBEs and HUBs) certified by North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (NCTRCA) and TxDOT to perform work in highway construction.
· Purpose: Track and expand the number of certified DBEs, SBEs, and HUBS in highway construction commodity codes.
Subcontractors
· Description: Number of disadvantaged, minority, women, and historically underutilized businesses (D/M/W/SBEs and HUBs) currently performing work in highway construction in a subcontractor role
· Purpose: Expand and track the pool of subcontractors participating in highway construction contracts.
Training
· Description: Number of disadvantaged, minority, women, small businesses and historically underutilized businesses (D/M/W/SBEs and HUBs) contractors (or contractor employees) enrolling and completing highway training programs.
· Purpose: Increase enrollment in and completion of highway construction training programs offered by CIP partners.
Prequalifications
· Description: Number of disadvantaged, minority, women, small businesses and historically underutilized businesses (D/M/W/SBEs and HUBs) receiving prequalification from TXDOT to perform work on TxDOT and NTTA highway projects.
· Purpose: Increase and track the number of certified disadvantaged, minority, women, small businesses and historically underutilized businesses (D/M/W/SBEs and HUBs) prequalified by TxDOT to perform work on TxDOT and NTTA highway projects.
Primes
· Description: Number of existing disadvantaged, minority, women, small businesses and historically underutilized businesses (D/M/W/SBEs and HUBs) transitioning from subcontracting work to prime level work.
· Purpose: Increase and track current disadvantaged, minority, women, small businesses and historically underutilized businesses (D/M/W/SBEs and HUBs) subcontractors performing highway work and moving into prime roles on highway projects.
