22. If I identify myself when I make a complaint, who will find out?
The identity of the complainant will be kept confidential, at their election. If confidentiality will hinder the investigation, proceeding or hearing, or result in a denial of appropriate administrative due process to other parties, the complainant will be advised for the purpose of waiving the request for confidentiality. In some circumstances, failure to waive the request for confidentiality may result in closure of the investigation or dismissal of any proceedings.
