17. What happens if a DBE or SBE quits a job or needs to be terminated from the job?
You must obtain approval from the NTTA to terminate a DBE or SBE from the job. You must also make a “good faith” attempt to replace a DBE or SBE with another DBE or SBE. The NTTA BOPP Liaison will need to determine the reason for replacement and may talk to the contractor and to the DBE or SBE being replaced before approving the replacement. You must submit a completed Form No. 4901, “Commitment Agreement Form” when you add or replace a new DBE or SBE firm.
