Dana A. Boone
Director of Cash and Debt Management
Dana Boone joined the NTTA in July 2009 as Director of Cash and Debt Management. In this newly created position, Boone will be responsible for project evaluation, cash and investment as well as debt issuance and management.
Boone comes to the NTTA with more than 16 years of experience in financial management. Most recently, she served as the Debt and Investment Chief at the City of Atlanta, where she worked for four years. Her responsibilities included cash and investment management as well as debt issuance and management.
Prior to joining the City of Atlanta, Boone was the Acting Treasurer for Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and also was a Vice President in municipal finance with Apex Pryor. Earlier in her career, Boone served as a Financial Analyst for the Texas Water Development Board, where she conducted her first bond deal in 1993. Her municipal experience began as an Auditor, specializing in auditing governmental entities.
Boone is active community supporter, earning several honors from the YMCA, including the YMCA Minority Achiever and YMCA Mentor. She also served on the board of directors of Operation Hope Inc., a leading non-profit social investment banking and financial literacy empowerment organization.
