TOLLTAGS - Pay Now. Save Money.

Maintain a TollTag account, and you’ll save time and money. TollTag customers pay the lowest toll rates – ZipCash customers pay 50 percent higher rates – and they enjoy the convenience of 24/7 online account management without the hassle of billing and invoices.  You can use your TollTag to pay for parking at Dallas Love Field and D/FW International airports, including discounted rates for terminal parking and pass-through at D/FW International Airport.  Plus, TollTags provide easy payment on any toll road in Texas without the hassle of receiving and paying bills through the mail.  For added convenience, TollTag customers can maintain up to three TollTags per account at no additional charge.

Use Your TollTag

As a TollTag customer, you’ll pay your tolls electronically from a prepaid account through the use of the convenient TollTag transponder sticker mounted on your vehicle’s windshield. Each time you pass through a toll lane, the toll is deducted straight from your prepaid account.

Get Your TollTag

Simply apply online at our 24-hour online TollTag Store – the most convenient source for TollTag applications, information and account management.  You also may visit our Customer Service Center or other participating retail outlets in person to fill out an application and get your TollTag on the spot.

To open a TollTag account, there is an initial $40 payment for up to three TollTags.  Customers are required to maintain a positive account balance, which can be monitored online.  Accounts can be secured with a credit card, check or cash.  Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are accepted.

TollTag Billing

Each time a credit-backed account balance falls below $10, an additional $40 is automatically charged to the card on file.  Customers who have cash-backed TollTag accounts must add funds to their accounts at the NTTA Customer Service Center or a participating ACE Cash Express location.

A TollTag customer may receive a ZipCash invoice if (1) the customer fails to update the account with new vehicle or credit card information or (2) the customer does not maintain enough funds in the account to pay the applicable tolls.  TollTag customers will be notified and begin to receive ZipCash invoices at the higher toll rate if the account balance goes negative.

To ensure accurate billing and prevent any disruptions in service, TollTag customers should update their TollTag account anytime they have changes to their vehicle, license plate, or credit/debit card information.  Motorists are responsible for updating their vehicle registration information with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles.

ZIPCASH - Drive Now. Pay Later.

ZipCash offers a pay-by-invoice option at higher rates for customers who prefer not to get a TollTag. With Cashless Tolling, when a motorist without a TollTag drives through tolling points, high-speed cameras take digital images of the license plate, and the tolls are billed to the registered owner of the vehicle.

ZipCash
toll rates are 50 percent higher than TollTag rates.  A premium is added to each toll to cover the costs of processing.

Invoices are mailed to the registered owner of the vehicle, and all motorists are responsible for updating their vehicle registration information with the
Texas Department of Motor Vehicles.

ZipCash Billing

ZipCash customers receive invoices for their tolls based on their toll road usage, and invoices are mailed to the registered owner of the vehicle. ZipCash invoices can be paid online, by mail or phone, or in person at the NTTA Customer Service Center or a participating ACE Cash Express location.

ZipCash customers will receive an immediate invoice for every 30 transactionsCustomers with five to 29 transactions will be billed every 30 days. Customers with four or less transactions will be billed 30 days after they reach their fifth transaction.

The longer a ZipCash invoice remains unpaid, the higher the related fees and fines will escalate.  Customers can avoid any fees by paying their ZipCash invoices, which cover tolls only, within 30 days.

ZipCash tolls are billed following the process outlined in the charts below.  Effective Sept. 1, 2011, the process changed, pursuant to Senate Bill 469, with authorized administrative fees for each nonpayment notice.  All invoices for tolls prior to Sept. 1, 2011, follow the previous ZipCash billing process.  This includes ZipCash, Late, Violation and Collection Agency invoices related to tolls incurred prior to Sept. 1. 2011.
