The Addison Airport Toll Tunnel (AATT)
The Addison Airport Toll Tunnel opened to traffic in February 1999. This two-lane tunnel crossing under the Addison Airport is approximately 1,600 feet in length, with a total roadway length of 3,700 feet.
The tunnel expands traffic capacity and eases congestion in the northern sector of Dallas and Addison by providing an east-west route between the Dallas North Tollway and IH 35E under the Addison Airport runway. It provides motorists a through passage on Keller Springs Road, which once ended on either side of Addison Airport, as an alternative to Belt Line Road or Trinity Mills Road.
Description: Two-lane tunnel, approximately 1,600 feet in length, with a total roadway length of 3,700 feet.
