Robert K. Shepard
Governor Appointee
 A pilot for more than 30 years and currently flying the Boeing 767 internationally for American Airlines, Robert Kelly Shepard joined the NTTA Board of Directors on September 8, 2006. Mr. Shepard has lived in the North Central Texas area for 28 years.
Raised in Hillsboro, Texas, the son of two public school teachers, Mr. Shepard attended Texas A & M University and was a member of the Corp of Cadets, graduating in 1972. While serving as a U. S. Air Force C141 pilot, Captain Shepard flew numerous supply and personnel missions to Southeast Asia out of Norton AFB, California. Hired by American Airlines in 1978, Mr. Shepard has flown the Boeing 727, DC 10, McDonnell Douglas Super 80, Boeing 757, and Boeing 767.
